"Life Made easy companionship does exactly what it says and more. Tom has been helping my mum for a couple of years now and he has transformed my mum's life. Nothing is ever too much trouble and my mum's needs are always paramount.

 

My mum has had Parkinson's disease for 35 years and it has really affected her mobility and her mind. With Tom's help she is able to get out and about to do things she enjoys and keep on top of life admin.

 

He has been a loyal friend to my mum, being there for her and helping her with her grief of losing her son when he was only 45. He has done lots of simple things with her like taking her shopping or having a picnic in the car at the local RSPB wildlife centre. My mum is a very creative person and he has even written a song with her and recorded it on video, but my whole family are so grateful to him for all his help, especially in the last couple of months, we couldn't have got through it without him.

 

My mum was having falls almost daily so it was decided that she needed to go into a home for her own safety and all round health. Tom helped her and my family to take on the mammoth task of reducing the contents of a large two bedroom flat, into a small bedroom at the nursing home. He took time helping us by ringing round for quotes on furniture removal, rubbish removal and organised to have things that unfortunately my mum couldn't keep but were in good condition, to go to charity and helped my husband to take some of my mum's things to be stored at ours.

He also helped myself and my husband to clean the flat until it was spotless and arranged for someone to professionally clean all the carpets, he went above and beyond in all he did and always stayed in close contact with us all.

I am especially grateful to Tom for being so patient with my mum, as the stress of losing her son so young and having to go into a nursing home at the age of 69 made my mum very confused and turned my loving and caring mum into a difficult client at times. But he was always understanding and very forgiving when she occasionally did things out of character for her.

 

Now that her old flat has been finished, I know that my mum can look forward to doing things that she enjoys with myself and her family, but also with the amazing companion that she has found in Tom. He is so easy going and great to talk to and he does everything he can to make my mum's life easier and more enjoyable. Thank you Tom for all that you do and will do for my mum in the future."
